Reassurance

So, I know that my first post was slightly overwhelming, but I wanted to give some beginning to this new blog of mine.

Yesterday night at a worship/speaker weekly thing called, Metro live, I received an amazing reassurance about my new quest/journey/chapter in my life. I am so excited to share it with you all!

The speaker of last night's Metro, Ashfin Ziafat, talked about Philippians 3:12-21 - to live life with an eternal perspective. And guess what his first point keyed on? "We need to pursue Christ above all else in this World." Thus meaning that we need to develop a relationship with the Lord and have a solid relationship with Him. And no matter what other relationship we are in, the relationship we have with the Lord needs to be the highest and most important.

The second point was Pursuing Holiness as a part of building your personal relationship with the Lord. We need to daily be in His Word and abide in it. To daily live in Christ! Through pursuing holiness, we want people to see God reflecting in us; we want them to see the light that God has given to us. And that leads into the the third point, to pursue others; to share the gospel with those around us. To care for them and show them the Love of Jesus Christ.

Ashfin ended with this, "Do not be in a stand still; seek to look to the Lord and follow His way and plan that He has for me. Live life to the fullest purpose that God has for me. Do not live life as the enemy of the cross, but as a proclaimer of the Cross and God's Word. Put your eyes on Eternity and not on the things of this World! LIVE with ETERNITY in MIND!!"

I just wanted to share what I learned last night about how God works and His amazingly incredible timing! The Lord is so wonderful! I love Him so much!
